St.Peter & St.Paul's is the Parish Church of Somborne with Ashley, situated at the heart of the village of King 's Somborne. The Church provides regular Services on Sundays and Wednesdays, and has as its mission the responsibility of telling the good news about the love of God, offering friendship and service to all members of the community and the holding of baptisms, weddings and funerals.  There is no dress code - some people dress smartly and others casually. The important thing is to feel relaxed and comfortable!

Our Licensed Lay Ministers are Mrs Sabine Burningham and Mr Howard Rowe; our organists are Mr Guy Boney and Ms Sophie Aynsley.

For enquiries regarding Baptisms, Weddings and Funerals please contact the parish office on 01794 368335.

Details of all Services and events can be found in the Parish magazine "The Gauntlet" which is managed by the Church and which is distributed freely to all homes in the community.

Together with our Church friends from other denominations in the parish and surrounding area we have signed a covenant forming the basis for Christians Together in the Sombornes and Ashley (CTIS) which now holds a number of ecumenical services, Lent courses, Autumn talks, Home and Prayer groups and social events such as a Drop in Club and an annual local walk. We also now have a successful Young CTIS group providing a range of activities for the large number of young people living in the parish.

For those more interested in the history and fabric of this beautiful Church, a detailed Guide is available. (Currently out of print January 2023)

Within the Parish there are two redundant Churches - All Saint's, Little Somborne and St.Mary's, Ashley which each hold two or three Services every year.

St Peter & St Paul is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Winchester's safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
